Get this: Factory Nissan Snorkel

If the Aussie snorkel is designed to be mounted on the left side of the vehicle, but the American car's air intake is on the right side you would have a problem, no?

I actually took a look at my Navara's manual which has a engine diagram for the left-hand-drive gas/petrol engine model. Unlike the right-hand-drive Navara, the air filter box is more or less in the center, a bit to the right, of the engine. What saves the day is that the air intake hose cuts, again unlike the Navara, across the engine compartment to the left side when, in fact, the right edge of the vehicle is physically closer.

I haven't look at the instructions. What would be the differnce in the install?
The Nissan unit needs new piping inside. I'm guessing custom piping since the description says you need to fab the interior.

The Frontier's intake sticker meets the fender well right where the TJM's front-most part ends. And from the instructions all you need is a hole-saw, drill, and the most fabbing you do is taking off 1/4" from the air intake line.

So, the TJM appears to use less modded parts, and attaches to the stock intake, so less in my book to go wrong. Both with the install and after.
