This is where things got interesting, looking for a good camp we kept exploring. Went across multiple creek crossings and mud bogs. Eddie and myself both hate mud but going back wasnt a good option either. I went through this section first knowing that eddie had his winch behind me. I made it thru with my carli suspension and the skinny pedal. Eddie wasnt as lucky we think the major issue was clearance my truck sits about 2 inches taller.

After we got out of the mud bog we found a great camp with minimal mosquitoes. The next day we grabbed some ice in lee vining and headed for laural lakes south of mammoth. Unfortunately the trail was snowed in ay the second switchback and we couldnt make it to the lakes. So we headed south.

We decided to head up to funnel lake/coyote flats for our last night. The trail was pretty tore up from all the snow but we made it. Had a great trip with zero issues. Where should we go in the sierras next time?

Based on your thread title, it sounds like you went with a Carli Suspension for your Ram. For the Ram diesels, it seems Carli and Thuren are two of the most well-regarded suspension companies in the business. Any reason why you chose one over the other?

Yes i went with carli over thuren. They both make great products. I might actually mix and match a few things down the road. Main reason i went with carli is because they seem to have a slightly larger company with much better customer service.

So i was fortunate enough to go to fjsummit with method race wheels. We had a great time and reached out to many potential customers. Of course we had to get the truck representing before. I went with the con 6 in bronze. Best part is that they have the correct offset so my tires dont rub on my radius arms any more.

After Lake Powell it was only a few hour drive to stop at Jimmy's 4x4 in Cortez Colorado for a little ******** Chat. Then on to Durango to fill up Fuel and food for the week. We ended up staying with some people who were looking to fill there house in Silverton, never met them before ended up working out great.
