I have a regular arb winch accessory kit (tree strap, couple shackles, 1 pulley, winch extension strap). Do I need anything extra or special for use with the pull pal?
Oh, using stock warn cable on my M8000.

Good call. I've got an old movers pad for use as a damper, when it's not the extra cushion under my sleeping bag.
Now to figure out where it's going to live on the truck.

Basically the only thing you NEED to hook up the Pull-Pal is a D-Ring Shackle. As Nic pointed out it is a good idea to have damper on your winchline for safety as well.
