Thanks it's been fun so far...

Decided to leave the tubing in the tongue whole and not cut it out to loose weight...would just be a trap for mud I figured.

Tongue almost done with sheet metal cut for it. Too rainy out today to get welded on however. Also finished drilling all the holes to mount it when it's all line X'd.

Cut on the ends so I can access bolts...

Finally rain stopped here so I got at welding the metal on the tongue...lots to weld but pretty much done!

Used the original safety chain mounts and welded them on with a rod going thru them.

That's a nice looking trailer, good work. Are you going to shift the axle location? If not, be careful as you are adding a whole lot of extra tongue weight with the extra steel and loaded jerry cans\nose box.

Not going to shift the axle...the pic makes it look longer than what it really is. Should pull fine I hope that way. Won't be much in the tongue box I don't think but want the extra room if needed
