What hat brands provide protection from sun and rain and can be rolled up for packing? Thanks!

i love my OR (Outdoor Research) "Seattle Sombrero." it's gore-tex waterproof and very packable. it has a poly lining that can get hot in the desert, but it should be perfect in your part of the country. i just cut out the lining and it's perfect for me now.

Check out the Tilley. It is generally associated with sailing. I don't like them when it gets real cold.

I like my simms hat. uv protection and it unfolds nicely after being crumpled up in a bag.

I don't know the official name but the Ex-Officio "booney" style hat is great and even has built in bug repelent.
