OK,

So I just got a national luna portable power pack for the back of my truck. I already have an AGM battery that will go in the PPP. I thought I had everything set but.....I don't or I don't understand the following...

Off of the PPP I want to run some sort of power distribution, I would like to have the ability to hardwire my fridge, some lights, and a 12v charging outlet for cell phones, etc.
I bought a hella 6 fuse block. http://www.summitracing.com/parts/HLA-H84960111/
After I got it out, I looked at it and realized I don't understand it or am missing some other part I need to get. Something to get power to the fuse block. The fuse block has terminals on either side of where a fuse would slide in, the wires attach with spade connectors. I think what I need is a way to get power to this fuse block.
Does this make any sense? Can someone suggest any products before I make the 1 hour drive to west marine to stare at the shelf dumbfounded by my choices or lack of choices?

Thanks

From my FlipPac build thread: http://www.expeditionportal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=34407

Here's an older pic of my Blue Sea 6 circuit with negative bus (you want the negative bus so you have neg and pos all at one location) and NL PP. These are bomb proof - the only way to go IMO. Currently, my fridge is plugged directly into the NL PP and my camper LED lighting and Viair compressor are wired to the fuse block. I have 4 empty circuits for future additions ;)

*Note the big red and black cables going from the PP to the BS - pos and neg bus feeds, inline 100 amp fuse block on the red cable from Scosche (car audio).
*Note the black and white wires going to the BS - white is the ground for the lights and black is the pos (RV wiring uses house wiring color codes vice automotive). These fuse blocks make it really easy because your ground and power are all in the same spot, fused, and squared away... safe!

Current completed utilities compartment (for now) with National Luna Power Pack, Blue Seas 6 circuit fuse block powering the LED camper lighting and Viair 400C air compressor. Compressor has a remote switch at the drivers door kick panel and is plumbed to the rear bumper for no-fuss air use.

You could always do like I did on my fuse block, make a jumper to distribute power. It is not the best way, but cheap and easy.

thanks for all the advice guys,

I got down to west marine and got the blue sea fuse block, and after wandering the aisles for a few more minutes ended up with a few other shiny things I probably did not need.........

I am sure I will have more questions in the next few days.
