Cheap, easy, and solid as a rock: Home brew roof rack.

Here's what I used:
-2 ladder racks from pull-a-part -painted black
-1 set of Harbor Freight ATV ramps.
-new hardware for the ladder racks
-8 u-bolts
Total cost, ~$65

I took hold of it with both hands and tried to shake it loose, nothing. Then I climbed on top and tried the same thing, still nothing. I think it's going to work great for all of my lighter stuff that typically ends up crammed inside while on the way to our camping destination.

JKU cargo storage

:sombrero: Used a Raingler net to store light duty stuff on the overhead, rather than on the deck of the cargo area-

nice idea. I might work on something like that for extra clothes and what not.

:) Heh Heh, thanx thatguy-it depends on howmuch rollcage you've got, to secure the corners of the net-

:sombrero: Mine is offroadheroes.com/thermal-acustic insulation and velcro strips-

where did you get the roof isolation, and how is it attached.

My JKU is comfy in the 115°/-10° Nv desert and very quiet inside

Go to Google and type "Jeep JKU Hardtop insulation" and you'll get pages of different mfg that make inside insulation for the JKUs--great

Good luck
