Howling Moon and Bundu Boxes

Unfortunately so! Unless you made it to our list and we confirmed with you, all the boxes are gone. All sold before the container arrived, so we'll get even more in next time. We had some members who took 10 boxes each, so they went pretty quickly.
We also are getting in a big bunch of replacement clips, until we can get steel ones sorted out.
Thanks so much to all of you for your patience and loyalty while it took us so long to get these in. I am trying to streamline the whole process of supply, and hope to make it not so difficult in the future!

Got mine today. Thanks!

A question: Are these strong enough to sit/stand on? They look like they could handle it, but I don't want to break one of my new boxes.

I stand/sit on them all the time. I'm not going to tell you to jump on them, but they can certainly handle your weight, especially if you're standing on the edges. (I'm 185, and while not heavy, it's a lot heavier than i should be!)
Enjoy!

Water resistant, yes. Waterproof, no. The holes you see are actually in the double-wall section. These are boxes to be stored indoors; they will handle a shower and even traveling on the roof rack, but if you want them water and dust proof, you'll need the Howling Moon cover for them.

Just got mine, and with the foam inserts too! Nice. Going to stock it tonight to see how it comes together. These fit perfectly in the back of a Defender, and I love how secure and stable they are stacked. I'm definitely going to need more of them now that I see them.

Just going through your website again, do you have any of the wheelie bags in stock? Need one of those more than the storage... Plus I like the idea of the poly coating so that the bag can be somewhat sanitized between uses.... one reason I haven't bought a trash-a-roo.

Thanks

We have plenty Wheelie Bins in stock and ready to ship tomorrow. Give me a shout in the AM and we'll get one out to you tomorrow.

So I got my 2 boxes and insert, and they are great! I'll be doing a full write up, but one thing for anyone considering this approach as a kitchen kit is that it's going to take some collective work to source all the proper fit dinnerware items to match the molds here in the US. This insert was a standard design for S. African based melamine dinner ware kits. Most items can be sourced here in the US. Doing legwork on it now. This insert kit in 1 box covers a 6 person setup, which is perfect for my 110, as that's the number I need to accomodate. Fits perfectly in the back as well, and I like how the boxes interlock for stability.

items to source for the kit are as follows to include their stacked dimensions allowed by the insert;

I've sourced:
-10" plates, 6x (can find at Target. melamine)
-8" bowls, 6x (still searching for final matching set. 7 1/4" melamine avail through restaurant supplies. I have my blue steel baked enamel bowls in there and they fit perfectly. foam hole for bowls is 8"w x 4.25"h)
-salt and pepper shaker. (easy to source anywhere)
--Cups, stackable. 3 holes that are 2.50" x 6" ea. (These are small. I just ordered a dozen of these for $16 and they should fit nicely: http://www.katom.com/028-5506C.html)

Still to be sourced.
-stackable coffee mugs. 3 holes that are 3.0" x 8" ea. (plan mugs for up to 3.5")
-sugar bowl. Don't have that dimension handy, but I wont' be using that, so that is space for something else. Haven't determine what I'll put there.

There are a couple other little molded storage spaces that are open to whatever you want, included a big square space that is perfect for cutlery or flatware. I'll probably go with the flatware rollup.

The hi-lid, as Rou mentioned to me, is perfect to use with the foam insert, as you can put your rolls on top of the foam insert. That's what I'll be doing as well. Need to get those next.

A planning note on this. All items can be slightly larger than the foam holes. As an example, the dinner plate foam hole is 9.5", so the 10" plates fit nice and snug.

I think the dinnerware kit that the foam was designed for look something like any of the following S. African sets (to give everyone a point of reference):

Um, and I think I need to follow this up with an apology! Our supplier unfortunately informed us once the shipment was already on the water, that they did not send the full kits, as were ordered.
So we have compiled the full kits, and have cups and glasses on the way to us from a US source. So, we have 3.5" diameter cups, 2" diameter hi-ball glasses, and 10" and 8" plates on their way. Final pricing to come. Bad news is, we're all out of the boxes, as usual! So, for those of you who either have boxes or are on the waiting list, we have inserts, and crockery, but no boxes!
Hopefully soon remedied as we have another partial shipment due to leave soon.

Rou, how about bowls? Whats timing on the US stuff you did order? I'll probably wait on your mugs to come in for a guaranteed fit. Finding matching bowls that fit has not been easy.
