Howling Moon and Bundu Boxes

Hi Cactus,
I wish I had better news, but we're looking at early-August. Unfortunately it only make sense to bring these things in when it's part of a full container. So we've had to wait till some factory-backordered items were in production and available to fill the container. We expect ours in by early-August. Hopefully sooner, but international ocean freight seldom happens on our wished schedule. Sorry for the inconvenience, but we WILL get some in. As many as we can fit in.

Just to clarify it looked like on your website that you could order the lo lid and MKII via Patpal. Only the hi lid was listed as backordered. Are all boxes out?
Y'know, we need to speak to our webhost! I think there is another version of our website floating out there in a parallel universe! We disabled any buy now option months ago (with no buttons whatsoever), and still we get paypal payments for boxes! I do not know how people are getting there, but some people are finding a buy now button.
To clarify, we are out of all boxes, unfortunately. Stay tuned and you'll all be the first to know!

Hi all,
Well here is the scoop; no point in our being embarrassed about this; it is what it is.
There is no way we can bring these boxes in unless they come in in the gaps in our containers. Thy get squeezed in the top of the container, on top of all the heavy stuff. We're shipping air here, and there is pretty much no way we can make any money from these items anyway. They're just a cool item to carry, but they certainly will not be paying their rent! So, when our container is delayed, unfortunately so are the boxes. We have been delaying the shipment of our container, because we've been getting orders for more things which need to go in there (a good thing for us), but it means that the sailing date keeps being shoved back as people are ordering more custom items.
So with huge apologies, we're probably looking at end-September before we get our new stock of Bundu Boxes in. I realize it's towards the end of the season. We also realize that some people have been waiting 4 months! The good news is that we will be getting in a good amount of lo-lids, hi-lids and complete kitchen kits. For those of you who have been wanting to order, we are loathe to take any deposits or payments without knowing a exact drop-date. I'm not one to hold on to someones money while not delivering a product.
Again, apologies for the delay. It is unavoidable, especially in these early stages of the game. We hope to get enough stock in so that there is sufficient rollover in the meantime, to ensure enough supply till the next container comes in. Thanks all for the understanding and support.

Just stumbled on this thread...really like these as a less-expensive upgrade over my action packers.
Quick question: Are these (or can they be made) waterproof? With living in the Pacific Northwest, that's pretty much a dealbreaker for me since I usually strap these to the roof or outside the truck/trailer somewhere. TIA
