I had the same question as the OP. I'd love a taco but "needed" more space in the cab (2 adults, 3 kids). I'd also been wanting to rent the occasional TT with plans to eventually buy. Not to mention the Jeep that wants to be a trailer queen. Long story short I ended up with a 16 Tundra like the white CM above.
The most difficult decision was DC vs CM. A foot of cab vs a foot of bed. I knew either way I'd end up with some sort of buyers remorse depending on the situation. Too bad the only way to get a CM with a 6.5' bed is to have the frame and driveline custom stretched not to mention the new bed. Hmmm, maybe I will at least find out what that number is.
This CM longbed was done by Precision Bodyline in SLC, UT. Too long for my taste, but you get the idea.
