interior room of TLCs

Is there much difference in interior room between 60s and 80s? Back seat leg room and cargo area are my main concerns.

The 80 supposedly has more overall cargo length and space, but the 60 feels more spacious. The way the 60 seats fold down are more conducive to cargo area sleeping than in the 80 (IMO) for instance.

There is little leg room in the 3rd row (80 only). I no longer have a 60, but IIRC they're very equal in 2nd row leg room to the cloth 80s.

I have no measurements to back any of this up, but I'd say my 60 was significantly more spacious in terms of both rear seat and cargo room than my 80 was.

We have both and the 62 is definitely more roomy. The best mix in my opinion, is a 60/62 body on a FZJ80 frame. Or go try to find an FZJ105.

On an FZJ80 chassis.....That would be sick.

You're making me think of Jon Stewart in Half Baked:sombrero:

Wow, off topic, but 19mph rating for the highway?

Hmmm, interesting.

According to this post in the Wiki part of Mud (which could be incorrect...) the FJ55 has exactly 98 cu. ft. or the same as the FJ60. I wonder...

I'll try to dig up numbers from actual Toyota lit.

OOOPS! I reread the specs from above. So, the '55 is more CAVERNOUS! :)
