We may have laws in the USA, where we get fines

Apparently it is ok on BLM and NF land if you are dispersed camping. Maybe dig a hole and slowly trickle so it seeps into the ground, then fill it back up?
I've never seen a BLM ranger in my life, even with 1000s of days camping on that land.

My favorite place to dump grey water is on the verges of gravel roads where nothing normally grows, but not on the road itself.
Alternatively, dig a hole, preferably in a sandy location where it will soak away.
I avoid placing it on native vegetation.

I'm thinking how I can use 5 gallon portable tanks. Then go to rest stop bathrooms and empty them. (or campground toilets) To do this I need to fabricate some adapter to fill 5 gallon portable tanks from my grey water valve. Or plumb in a hose and valve release outlet.

My habitat came with a battery cable and Andersen plug in the front. (could be used for dc-dc charging)
I also understood, I could place a 300 amp hr lithium battery in the truck cab between the two rear bucket seats. If it was a parallel connection, the lithium system would charge this battery. And my battery bank would increase to 900 amp hrs.

Cattle and sheep graze and poop and piss all over NF and BLM. Just to put it in perspective.
Yes, anything edible that you dump on the ground could attract critters. Bees and wasps are drawn to water if you are in a dry climate.
I don't make the laws.
The sliding platform under the entry door has a 1/8 2x2 angle iron perimeter frame. To hang the staircase to one side, I used two of theses items below. With a grinder and welder, located them to attach the staircase. These provide attachment and removal.

The 4 stepper is probably what you want. 9" vertical per step, so would be "perfect" with a 45" deck height. It's also good to have it run along the box too, so you can add some handles.

Getting back to the grey water, most overland campers have less grey water capacity than fresh water. This means they are either not using all their fresh water they have made provision for, or they are offloading their grey water along the way (in a thoughtful, but realistic manner hopefully). I have even been in campsites in the summer, where the site operators have asked for campers to discharge their grey water around the trees on the site to water them!
Gator, is that your grey camper box? If the double bed is in that space above the cab, you must be like Wile E Coyote after been flattened by a road roller - that would give me the heebie-jeebies with my face so close to the ceiling!

I figure that you would have to be young and have no mobility or disability issues in order to utilize that space for sleeping. For me, I would think that 900mm would be the minimum height I could work with.
That setup would definitely not be an option for me or my wife, that's for sure, but it's not my camper.
