Isuzu npr 4wd

Personally, I don't see how this would be advantageous, given the shallow depth of your storage box.
Adding a sliding shelf will actually result in a small loss of usable space.

Yes correct, but the door when open as you see it, creates an access problem due to the depth of the door. Due to the bumper placement the door must not drop lower.

Can't you install it upside down with gas struts to hold it up? On the truck it's probably above your head when open

Considering a second spare tire. Just the rubber. When you get a flat, and if there is sidewall damage a new tire may be required. Theses tires can be 5 days to two weeks wait for purchases. Carrying an extra, just the rubber can be cheap insurance .

With every option there are normally positives and negatives.
The positives you listed are all correct, but on the negative side, you have to find somewhere to store an extra tyre case. You also have to find space for the tools required to fit/remove a case from the rim.
You would also require a decent air system, as you will need some good air flow to seat the bead onto the rim. I know there are other ways to do this, but some are potentially dangerous.
If you make space for one thing, something else probably can't be taken. It all comes down to your priorities.

So much in this industry is overpriced by 400%. Its a real challenge to conceive and build functionality for reasonable expenses.

And I do much of the solution engineering where practical and analyze multiple constructs to achieve a desired output. I do use a select group of skilled professional as I do not have my own shop.

A few times a compromise is required, such as the size of my shower. And a few more.

I was lucky to get my habitat built mostly custom to my needs without surcharges.

This is the area where the rear spring brackets must attach. We have created the subframe extension to reach this location. Now we need to solve the attachment engineering as we struggle with the factory crossmember hardware. ( always something)

Note: Our truck frame is 6 inches longer than the habitat when mounted. However our rear storage box extends that 18 inches. Our habitat was purchased with a standard length of 5700 mm with 2000 mm over the truck cab.
