So what does this tell us about the design of the new Wrangler?

1. A growing number of people love the current Wrangler. So sticking with the current design is safe.

2. Even more people love the new Cherokee. So people are willing to accept a new definition of "Jeep."

So the goal will be to modernize the Wrangler without alienating fans of the current design. Ergo, a lighter, more aerodynamic Wrangler with a smaller more fuel efficient drive train. Keep the solid axles and body on frame to differentiate from the Cherokee. To increase capacity, possibly build the two door Wrangler in Toledo, and the four door model at another facility.
