Very nice job KB7! You got me excited about the project again. I am really bummed after the update letter for the Habitat. (couple more months delay in production and more for the Nemo tent
)
I see the exhaust is different. Did you do a motor swap or just exhaust? Getting that muffler out of the way helps. I am doing the Hemi swap soon (as soon as I sell the FJR bike.) the exhaust will be moved and I am planning on putting the house battery in the "trunk" area. Now I might have to see if there is room for both some way.
Two questions. Was there not room to go out the forward side wall of your trunk instead of down? And did you have to shorten the drawer inside to get that hose through or was there that much wasted space? Really neat!
Oh yea, is that a tuffy trunk?

Ditto on everything you stated about the latest delays! Maybe early adopters can be fast tracked on the Nemos to get more Habitats out in the field for summer. We'll see.
Exhaust is Magnaflow via Cooltech LLC. It drops several lbs and gets that factory muffler out of the way. Nice tone in my opinion, not loud but more substantial than stock. Still have the 3.8 and not really interested in the Hemi.
Thanks for the feedback. Warrior Products drop in and rivet trunk is about twice the volume of the stock so other than cutting out the old one, a fairly plug and play install vs. something more custom like the J8 battery box or what you may be planning. The sway bar is close to the front although with a custom box there is some room to expand outward a bit. The pre-fabbed drop in makes it easy.
Originally the space was intended for water storage as I already have dual batteries under the hood, but then after some additional thought the space seemed perfect for the Propex. Trunk volume was calculated to only be about 7 gal so not much water capacity anyway.
I had AT fabricate the drawer 3" shorter than the cabinet which is still plenty long for good storage without sacrificing much space. This made it easy to route the 2.5" high temp silicon hose through the back of the drawer box. Note that the black with yellow striped hose was replaced after feedback from Martyn at AT that it would break down. The red/orange stuff is rated 550F, intermittent 600F (pricey but good).
Now with stage 2 on order I get to play with routing the water fill and tap points up near the right rear roll bar area then will have the attachments through the Habitat in the area above the tailgate. At least this is the plan, subject to change.
Do post some pics as your build progresses and good luck with the Hemi! It's great to read and see unique ideas unfold.
