Jerry Cans at Atlantic British Quality

Has anyone used the Jerry Cans sold by Atlantic British (roverparts.com)? Were they the same or better quality than Wedcos? I like the fact that they are OD and seem to be less expensive than Red Wedcos. But that could mean lower quality.

Currently sold out, but if you're not in a hurry they are typically about $12-$13US. They normally have them in stock.
I've bought probably 20 and only had a problem with a couple.

Looks like the rover parts ones are new. Wedco is new. You may give them a call or email and ask if wedco is the supplier

Yes, new vs. what I linked to. But for the price difference the used ones are fine IMO. All but a couple have been very clean inside and in good shape. When I got mine they were about $10, so the price has gone up a little, but still a lot less that new. Total about $200US for the used vs $640US for the new.

I also bought about 20 new NATO cans from Cheaper Than Dirt a couple years ago for about $10US each, but haven't seen that deal since.

Earlier this year I bought 2 of the used cans from sportsmen's guide. One is peeling it's top coat of paint from sitting in the ocean air, but from the looks of it there are several layers underneath so no worries. I've been impressed with them. No leaks no matter how I set them down.

A friend had one one of these cans strapped to his bumper swing-away mounted spare while on Saline Valley Rd. Straps popped off, can hit the ground at some speed. They doubled back for it, was sitting upright in the middle of the road, not leaking and only slightly more dented.

Wedco cans

Received a couple of 20liter cans from Atlantic British. They seem heavier and well built compared to the regular red wedco from the States. The supplier is from the UK.

Customer service was great.

These are the 20 liter NATO cans. NOT carb compliant. They are on sale for 34.99. I have no affiliation. They are pre-banned made. I ordered the NATO can from Cheapterthandirt.com for $50.00 they are the same. Good hunting.

I bought two of the 10L cans a year ago, and they're great. I've never had a problem, no leaks, no issues. I can recommend them.
