JK/J8 Flippac rumor??

Damn you Mario and AT. Now I am trying to figure out how to sell everything (dog even, if needed) to buy my Rubicon JK so I can get this Flippak option. Heck, I am almost tempted to put a deposit down and I don't even own a JK.

Basically this would just about complete my dream truck. The Earthroamer was about it but the $$$ would keep me from ever owning one. This is like the "poor man's" Earthroamer. After seeing how beefy Dave's Flippak is, I am sure you guys will get a great product to market.

Curious, will you be building more than 10 at some future date or is this a one time deal???

I told you it would be a good idea :) I will be interested to see some pictures of the door entry to the topper area. I still want this on a 3-door J8!

Overall it definitely seems like you are on the right track. Low overall height, forward flipping, fairly universal application, etc.

Excellent! :sombrero:

I'd love to have a rainproof tent with awning-things, great idea. Be very interested to see what evolves here.

Congratulations on what I hope will be a very profitable product for Adventure Trailers. The price mentioned is very encouraging. Less than $5K to pretty much double the utility of the truck seems a very good deal.

Heck, if only one in ten of us who have been saying what a great idea this is come through, you'll look genius. ;)

Thanks, as always, for AT's contributions.

Roughly how big will the opening over the rear seats to get into the sleeping area above? Perhaps from where the rear roll bar crosses behind the rear seats to just over the head rests of the front seats?

Jason, it will be essentially roll bar to roll bar and door to door over the rear passenger area.

Curious, will you be building more than 10 at some future date or is this a one time deal???

Only 10 at this time. This is a test of the market. The results will dictate the future.

Mario, I've bit my tongue bloody around some campfires over the last couple of months...

Thanks for keeping the cat in the bag Amigo. I owe you a cold one! Name is yet to be decided.

Mario and Martyn,

Love it, love it, love it. :wings: Reading the description, I agree with every single of your design decisions. Can't wait to see first pics of it!

Can't wait to see some pictures of a prototype.

Good luck but I am sure the first 10 will go quickly.

Like others, now I am tempted once again with buying a JK just for this. It is really what I want.:victory::wings:

Now if the JK came with a v8 or turbo diesel...
