ok guys am new here my name is mohannad
i will put some pictures of my last trip to Jordan in september 2012
the trip started from Kuwait ( where i live ) to Jordan (my home land) through Saudi arabia

the travellers

near Jordan borders , sorry didn't take a lot pics in saudi as we were passing through we had a one stop only

our one stop in tareef area near Jordan

i will take you to the great city of petra now and its a huge area to explore needs alot of time actually but forgive me i will go lil fast here

at the start things seems easy and and u had to go through this small valley and u can choose ur ride horses or camels

then is started to get narrow

till you reach the real entrance of the great city
of course there is a lot details am missing here

sure there is so much to see but we were heading to Wadi Rum desert
so lets hit the road

after we pass the gate and got tickets

our guide and my mate entering the Khazaal mountain we were advised not to come here at night because of GHOSTS!! ( spooky )

camping site the second day as we were so tired we just made our dinner and dropped dead

Well done Mohannad! I love seeing posts from middle eastern members. This is a part of the world we get to see little of from the perspective of those who live there. not when we visited the place it was close and i don't know if they open it some other time by the way its called ( khazna )

When I was in Jordan/Petra, I went into that area, and it is not like it looks in the Indiana Jones movies. It just goes into a small empty room.
