First post... Here's the Land Abuser holding my beer for me. It's been in the family since my grandmother bought it off the dealership lot and will finally find itself under my ownership after an August fishing trip in the Tetons with the uncle. I learned how to drive stick in it and took it down some trails for the first time back when I was 12!
It has been perfectly maintained for all of its 43 years.
Thanks guys - you could say this old cruiser is pretty important to me. There are lots of nice rigs on this forum (especially this thread!) - I've been spending my lunch breaks combing things for a few months. Lots of good ideas... My particular cruiser will stay mostly stock... maybe a locker or two in a few months... but man oh man some of the things I see here tempt me to change my mind!
New here as we now have a little one and spending time taking weekend trips looks like it is going to take the place of the rock crawling we used to do. So far we have had a great time exploring and look forward to future trips. This site has been a great resource so far. Here is a shot from our Memorial weekend trip to Columbine , CO. Cheers!
