finally getting much needed rust repaired... would have rather spent the money on lockers and gears, but I guess next year...

Took bed and parts off to help with labor cost. thinking about not repairing the bed and going flat bed... Ideas?

Mid job...

should have it back in a few weeks.

Not much to speak of yet. I'm still RestoModding it to make sure it'll be good for the long haul on the trail.

F150 with 7700/F250 Leaf Springs, Moog everything, Billy's front and rear, 7.3 SD trans cooler. As well as being my hunting and overlanding vehicle, it's also the Tow rig so I needed a full size truck. Next I need to install my Expedition brakes, roof rack, rear tire carrier and Tent rack.

What have you done to the front end? Lift wise I mean.

It's stock, no lift. Other than turning up the torsion keys a bit that is. It's right at the safe 24.25". Any further and you wear out the front end.

Thank you very much. Your truck gave me the inspiration to go ahead with building a half ton Overlander. Adventure travel and we can tow a real boat or trailer. :0)

I like the Swiss army knife/ Lego style build. Put this there and move this there.. whatever is needed for certain trip. Nice truck what are the specs? Where are the pictures taken?

Thanks! It definitely works like that, sometimes its a relaxing trip but sometimes we ride, sometimes its a one-nighter sometimes its a couple weeks. As far as the truck its a 2010 f250 6.4 powerstroke 60k miles, dpf delete, Sct tuned, rough country 3 inch lift on 37 toyo open countries, 18 inch fuel anza wheels, tepui ayer tent and 4.5ft awning(mistake should've went big), other odds and ends yakima rack and box, cheap cree light pods and 24inch bar up front(junk). Im loving it so far lots of room for improvement down the road but it gets me and my trailered comanche where I need to go.

The pics are from all over,
White rim road- Canyonlands ntl park
Laurel hill wma- Lawrenceburg tn
Clingmans dome- smokey mtn ntl park Tn
cohutta wilderness area- Chattsworth, Ga
Sylvan lake state park-Eagle, Colorado
