Why did you keep the pickup bed at this point?

I think the headroom was only 5,10" inside the box. In order to make the overhead go over the cab, the box floor and frame would have been 6+ inches above the frame. The wheel wells wouldn't line up.Etc. By cutting and using the top I was able to get about 6'2" headroom.

From the beginning I wanted something similar to a Callen Camper shell. If I were to do it over again I would build my own and make the cabover part big enough for a bed. By not having the bed above the cab it takes up too much space and limits the layout of the lower portion of the box.
it was nice to have a king size bed , but even folded up it took up too much space.

May have posted in here before. Anyways, got a few different setups with my F700. There is room to haul the gooseneck stock trailer with the John Deere Gator loaded also.

Sorry about the picture size.

Just Bought this 04 Silverado 6.6L 4x4 extended cab. Came with the shell and Bed rug molded carpet in the bed. Already on the way to being a great overlanding/ camping rig. Has a 4in exhaust already. 118k miles and i hope to put a ton more on there. Happy to be back in a full size rig.

Raul, your truck continues to be the inspiration for my F-150. Granted it will be a slow transformation but it will happen.
