Not sure if you’re on here, but spotted this sweet 3500 with a Bowen bed up in Alaska near Denali. Very clean rig!

I have a ‘19 diesel Colorado ZR2 Bison which can now become my full on adventure vehicle and ‘23 2-door manual Bronco Badlands that is my daily driver. The Silverado was bought to be a truck for my 3 acre lake property albeit a very capable one. All my vehicles are set up for adventures just for specific types (i.e. weekend, expeditions or towing a boat or modest trailer). I’m lucky enough to be able to have all three and unlucky to be a life long car guy that wants all three and more vehicles.

This is Towpar, my 1976 Power Wagon. 440 Power, Dana 60s with 4.10s and limited slip rear, plus a flatbed and a truly unhealthy amount of rust in the cab floors. I've so far collected new inner fenders, new hood, NP435 transmission and 205 T case, and I am slowly working on getting it put together.

What in the hell did you ever sell that w350 for? And I'm not a Dodge fan. But those, and the RamChargers that were like 70's and 80's Broncos, but with a metal roof. They sort of showed the way the big Blazer would eventually go, with non removable roof. Again. Not a Dodge fan but loved those

I built an engine for it that ended up having a piston out of spec and it hit the head so it was sitting a while and Hurricane Sandy dropped a tree which caused some roof damage (was only the outer skin) but with it sitting it was better for it to go to a new home.
The guy that bought it was from VA with a real nice Cummins truck. He swapped the entire drive train into the crew as he needed the extra room due to having kids.

Oh, well. If you're gonna sell it, those are good reasons. I guess we just can't have nice things...good that it went to a fitting buyer.

Wish all the manufacturers would bring back step side models. Sure would fix the issue of barely being able to reach over the bed rails of modern trucks. Actually GM and Ford now have step cutouts on thier 2500/250's. Good and helpful

It would also be nice if they shrank them back down to a normal size, but I don't have much hope for that happening. My buddy has a 2016 Sierra 2500 and it is simultaneously larger on the outside and smaller on the inside than my Power Wagon...
