So this is my solution to carrying and transferring extra fuel
Ok so I started with a flo n go max flo that I got off of amazon
The hose wasn't quite long enough so I went and got some 1/2 in hose to extend the length out ( I need to cut it down some now it's too long ) also got some 1/2in plastic junctions and some tube clamps
Ended up with this
So I have 3 fuel tanks that I can use (2) 5gal tanks and (1) 6gal boat fuel tank.
I trimmed the fuel pick up tube so it would be just above the bottom of the 5 gal tanks and for the boat tank I just put it in at an angle.
All 3 will be mounted on the front side of the rack.
And to get flow started just push down on the black tab and give the handle a few priming pumps and then just hold it open. The flow is pretty good once it starts flowing. Now I just need to make some thing to hold the handle full open so I don't have to hold my hand on it.
5 gal
6 gal
Obviously there is enough slack to just leave the tanks all strapped down and just remove the caps and just insert the fuel pic up tube. All done and coiled up.
BIG THANKS TO AZTACOMA!!! Cause I got the idea from him
