This one actually started as a front wheel drive car. I pulled the rear suspension from a 4X Subaru I had and bolted it on in place. The lift is somewhat custom. They can be bought from www.SJR.com . He made a bunch of the blocks of mine from cast aluminum. The wheels are custom made from Australia. The skid plate and A bar are custom. It has a Limited Slip rear diff and a 5 speed hi/lo range trans.

There's some other stuff too.

Started with it looking like this:

Hi Zap. What tyres are they? Mine are 14"
Hankook RT 01's but I can't buy them here anymore. Looking for an alternative. Thanks. Very cool by the way.

That Rocks,very nice.:clapsmile

Are those Interco SSR's?
How you like them,on and off road.

Thanks. I've wanted one of these coupes for the whole 10 years I've been building these. It's one of 2 lifted ones in the world I think. The other is in Australia.

My tires are SSRs. I think they're king when offroad. On the road, they aren't bad. I have 15s, so they're a little less sidewall tall. I don't drive them as daily driver tires. I only drive the coupe once and awhile. They cost too much for my budget to waste on the street. They're really good for the shock and awe when around car enthusiasts.

I did have them on my old impreza for a little while. But they were too heavy for it. I liked these better.

I used to own an '87 GL Hatch, lifted a little, welded rear diff, that thing went places my 4Runner wouldn't, it never quit! Only decided to sell it when I found a Runner for a price I couldn't refuse, I sure miss that thing! :(

If it's lifted to make it more usable I'm all for it.

Sure beats the hell out of a "hummer" for *any* reason.
