Remove the ABS tray in the engine compartment, and you can fit a tank in that spot, you can bolt it to the inner fender. I did this on my LJ and it worked great. Place the bottle drain at the bottom, and than you can reach up from underneath and access the drain plug.
Sorry, no pics, but it works great. The Abs tray takes some bending to get out of the small space, but it can be done!
AirRock'ed TJ! That is an awesome system. Has it been pretty trouble free for you?
Not a good idea, get in an accident and BOOM! They only way this works, is if you plan to not keep the tank filled.

Really? Ive seen sliders and bumpers used as airtanks for a while and havent seen anything saying that they explode. Im not saying that it dosent happen, Ive just never seen it. got any examples?
This is where I installed my Kilby tank. 1.75gal but on the LJ the 2.5
fits just fine

really like the plug you used to protect your connections. Where can I find this? I want one too!![]()
Kilby Enterprises sells them. They are quite inexpensive (the covers), everything else is pretty pricey!
thank-you!
Just checked mine (the cover) the brand is Parker which is pretty common. Like the others though, I think I just got it from Kilby because it was easy. Should also be able to find it in places like MSC Direct and Grainger though if you happen to have an account or need/want it faster.
