I ended up buying a kit from Summit racing to make my fan shroud to hopefully save some time. I really only bought it for the main "pan", and knew I was going to had to some funky stuff to make it work for my set up. I had some thin gauge diamond plate laying around, so I thought I might as well make it all fancy instead of using regular aluminum sheet. I ended having to do a clamshell set up so I could get the fan on after hooking the "pan" to the radiator. The placement of the radiator in relation to the fan was pretty offset. Hopefully it does the job and seems to be working pretty well so far. It's been in the 90's here the last couple of days and I drove it during the hottest part of the day and it stayed below 200*. I still am thinking about putting an electric fan on the front of the radiator to push air through the radiator. We'll see what happens.

I ended up putting Lucinda in the local car show today. There were about about 25 or so trucks in the off road category and about 140 vehicles total. I ended getting picked for top 5 in the off road category. There were some nice rigs and crawlers, too. They didn't denote places but the called my name 2nd, so I either got 2nd or 4th. Either way I didn't expect anything, although it drew a lot of attention. The award was a sweet set of steak knives, and I won a cooler in the raffle, too! Fun day.

Not sure if you're familiar with your prize but those a Lagiole knifes from France. Great knifes and not cheap. Whomever came up with that price had taste, congrats! I have a set very similar to yours except mine is probably 50 yrs older

I finished welding out and painted the roof rack finally. I cant believe I slacked for so long to do it, but I have been ridiculously busy lately. It looks so much better now, I kinda wished I would have powder coated it, instead of paint, but oh well.
I ended up using plasti dip on the clamps, hoping the rubber would make the clamps grip better, but it actually did the opposite. Now I can't get them as tight, because they want to spin and slide off of the gutter. I am going to add another bolt through the leg and clamp so they will stay clamped to the gutter when I tighten them.

I hadn't opened the awning in a while. And I also wanted to see how hard it was to do it by myself, and it wasn't too bad. Easier to take down than put up. I hope my 6'4" tall friend is with me next time I have to open it. It was way easier then. I still feel like it is a pretty nice product. Does anyone know if the ARB room will work on the Smittybilt awnings, I think mine is the same size?

Check the sizes. I think the Smittybilt awnings are the same size as the older ARB awnings (6'x6' or 8'x6'), so you'd need the older part # rooms that match to that size. The newer ARB awnings are 8' deep, (6'x8' or 8'x8'), and the matching rooms are also bigger.
