m35 Duece and a Half RV

Found this one Ebay Motors, no aff. It actually seems well set up, as opposed to most campers built off dueces. It seems like it'd still be usable on a trail without worrying about being top heavy. Bit expensive, one could probably build one yourself for the same price, but it's still cool.

Pretty cool. I agree on the not so top heavy comment. Most are huge with big boxes attached.

I wonder if it has the A3 kit? The super single wheels were part of that kit, but it also included a new diesel engine, power steering, auto trans and central tire inflation system. When they work (the CTIS on some of our duece's was problematic, but that may have been a maintenance issue) they are great trucks.

I agree.
Old army trucks are best left to the collectors. I coulnt imagine doing long periods behind the wheel in one of them.
