Man Discussion

This our virtual campfire... I'm pretty sure we're all having fun.

:Wow1: Fun. Fun. Well good sir, this is a serious forum for serious discussion of all the finer aspects of the overlanding lifestyle. Fun is not welcome here as it is a distraction from the hard bitten realities of driving an overladen vehicle around in someone else's back yard. How dare you injected your quaint notions of "Fun" upon the esteemed personages of the Portal membership. Instead of making cheeky post, your time would be better spent in serious reflection on such subjects of what underwear are best for the male overlander whilst traversing to the latest overlanding rally, what next piece of Asian cookware you are going to add to your travel kit, and why anyone who doesn't own $100 khaki pants hasn't been banned from this forum yet. Shame on you sir, Shame.

I test drove both the Tacoma and Nismo Frontier and as Rolls Royce would say, they were both "adequate" in terms of speed.

I will say that I had about a fender length on my cousin's 6.0 Denali a couple weeks ago though ;)

Why is the 0-60 important?
..... if you've ever driven in a city 0-30, 45, and 60 (sometimes 80) can be very very important. on the freeway your 45 (55, or 65) to 80+ can be life or death depending on how fast that semi is coming up behind you.....power can be good! I'd love to have 100 more HP under the hood!

My question wasn't really meant to be taken seriously...

Oh the nissan came out on top according to the vid. I guess everyone should sell their tacomas trucks. I think the sport is faster because it has the hood scoop:)
