Hopefully, it is just the pictures, but the base "covers" on those Sienna seats do not fit with the quality of the seat IMO. Can you cover them or paint them? Maybe it appears differently in person.
I sat in a van at a car show a few years ago, just becuase of all the seat swap threads on here. They are super comfy.

What issues do you see with them? The black matches the other black components in the van, floor, etc.
Incredible seat for the money, and having the Sienna mounts already fab'd up makes it even easier. I had Recaro's on my list but it would have been a LOT more costly and more of a headache--and no comfy recliner. Thanks to MG and UJOR for pushing forward with the Sienna setups!

-"When I get some final dimensions, I'll engage with some local canvas/tent making vendors to discuss material options and design. I don't expect to deviate far from the 'windows/screens on all sides' design that the other guys have."

In the past, the bicycle trailer company "Burly" in Oregon has been involved with a few special projects that don't relate to the bicycle industry. At one point, they were making all of the canvas and associated waterproof components for Tentrax trailers. Burly makes great products with top notch craftsmanship. It was probably the nicest part of that Tentrax...

I can't wait to see what you come up with for a top.

Thanks for the tip!

I can't wait for you to see this top design too! I'm getting really excited to start building the prototype in a few weeks!!! Parts are beginning to trickle in already. :)

I know they're not local to you, but Kirkhams here in Salt Lake can do custom canvas for you. They've been making the springbar tents for decades. I look forward to your pop top design. I'd love a pop top, but I don't have the funds for one. Maybe someday.

2 spares. Because the rear bumper design I'm planning will have a modular design and I want to showcase all of the features...including a spare on each swing out.

I love the wheel/tire combo, but that's no big surprise....I love everything about this build. Excited about all the upcoming pop-top goodness, Cummins goodness, bumper goodness, 80/20 goodness! Thanks for continuing to take the time to share......

Thank you! I'm happy to share the progress.

Nice combo! Are those 35s? If so going for more lift?

Tire size is LT285/75R18 (34.8" diameter). Yes, I will be lifting my van soon. I'm redoing the front suspension to improve on the geometry a bit which includes new radius arm mounts, new shocks, springs, modified radius arms, etc... Fixing all the things that bug me about the van's handling characteristics.
