MG Metalworks Van Build

You know in all seriousness, if you did consider it, doesn't Abitibi have an entire kit for sale for dirt cheap, including axle? Somebody here does. Out your way too I think.

I have no problem giving praise to Ujoint's product. I've driven several vans with his kit and I think highly of them. I'm committed to making my radius arm set up work though. It would be a considerable amount of money to change over to a Ujoint front suspension compared to the changes I'm making to my van.

It's all good. Just passing info. The leaf sprung setup is arguably a better, more "serious" off road system, but in all reality how many of these vans are going to pull hardcore off road duty? Nothing wrong with that radius arm setup and I'm sure you'll do a bang up job. And gettin 'er done less expensive is almost never a bad thing!

Everything has to come apart at some point for 3M SM600L Thinsulate(TM) sound deadening/insulation.

Fixed.
Let me know if you would like a sample.
Off the hook build, BTW. Mad CAD work to be sure.
Hope you get out to play once in a while, LOL

All the best,
Hein

Thanks for taking my post in stride!
We are in Hood River and have some errands in Beaverton/Tualatin on Friday.
PM sent

Hein,
Your Sprinter is incredible, uber clean(I've seen it at SprinterFest the last few years). Thanks for helping MG out.
Jeremy

PS--Off-topic; Are you still making door pockets out of UHMW/etc?

tgreening, sounds like MG already has something else in mind (and curious to see the end results!) but thanks anyway for the free bump!

Nice choice of wheels/tires MG!

Cheers
David
