thanks. you missed a LOT of action! had to pull peter twice. had to winch. slippery as all hell.

i'm gonna have to get back out there and explore more after school is over. i found a bunch of trails i've never seen before!

Done. hopefully i'll never need to make another set of sliders for myself again. if anything happens, i will mount to the frame using DOM tubing. although i don't see the sills bending with the kind of wheeling i do.

i can't tell if you're being serious or not, but the truck was a suction cup in that mud once i got stuck. the extraction was fun, and a good learning experience.

some fun in caney fork this weekend:

You are building it yourself
You are fabricating your own components
You are using it on the trail

Nicely done!

I do have a quick question, which you may have addressed in the pages prior, but what have you done for the CDL issue?

nothing.:coffee: my truck came with it! :wings:

i find myself wanting a rear locker and 4.11s, though. gearing will be nice for steep hills and highway. locker will help those cross-axled situations i'm getting into more and more. those are my next major modifcations.

Hey man, I want to come up and wheel with you guys sometime. This summer or winter break. I'm dying to get out of this flat state I live in.

I used to drive to Birmingham (12hours) straight when I lived their for a year. Did that trip about 6 times or so times. The FLRC is basically a very tight group of friends who all live in tampa, they hold events a couple times a year and their other stuff is more for them.

So yea, I'm dying to get out of florida and see some real trails.

i'll get in touch with you next ride that comes up in NC. i'd imagine a 12-14 hour drive for you to get to caney or uwharrie.

I am taking summer school for Summer B. So either this summer, this winter, next summer. No rush. Just fill me in if ya like. So, if I can make certain trips I'll go.

Later bro. By the way, rover is looking real nice. Nice job welding too. My friends can't weld nearly that good ha.

ordered some 30mm wheel spacers from a guy off dweb. they were half price from the new ones. i've beenw anting to address my radius arm rub for sometime. i'm a tab bit concerned about my wheel bearings, but if they are truly hub-centric, then i won't worry about it.

spare rear diff and shocks are FINALLY on their way. got my spare axles in last week.

i'm just ready to finish my rear bumper now, but i'm putting 12-19 hour work days 7 days a week, so no time until the end of the summer.
