That's what I'm doing now. I was running KM2s in the 255 size on stock 16x7 TRD wheels. I didn't want to wear them out just driving to work so I put some 285 Nitto Terra Grapplers on FJ trail teams wheels and keep the KM2s in the garage. I'm definitely going to try the Nittos in the mud though. If they work well enough I may just sell the KM2s. I've heard good things about the Trail Grappler and its sister tire the Toyo A/T so here's hoping.

The Nitto Trail Grappler is an amazing tire. I had them on my FZJ-80 and on My discovery II. I never wheeled the Disco II so don't know how she would have done. The FZJ-80 did excellent on them. Open diff rig so a bit of wheel spin an low air pressure helped in slippery sections.

Good looking truck man. I'm looking to do the same lift and tire combo. Did you have to do the cab mount chop to fit tire? I've been getting mixed answers.

Thank you erk1505, no I did not do a cab mount chop. I got mixed reviews on this as well. Sorry, may not be the best answer. Some told me that at full stuff it will it rub on the cabs mounts, I've wheeled my truck pretty hard an still haven't rub on the cab mount. I do rub in the inner frame rail at full lock on the passenger's side. It really doesn't bother me, and I don't want to run spacers to fix it. Best advise I can give is try a set of 285's and flex the truck out, you may or may not need it.

The cab mount rubbing really depends on what your wheel/tire combo is and how much caster you're running.

When I had my 2nd gen Taco, I was running 285/70/17 duratracs on OEM tundra/sequoia wheels and about 1.9 degrees of caster and I never rubbed the cab mounts even heavy flexing offroad. The only rubbing I had was on the UCA at full lock in reverse and my fender liners which was remedied by trimming. ohh... and the front mudflaps but I removed them when I put the 285's on.

Warn M8000 & 3/8" x 100" Viking Off-Road Winch Line.

Installed my Warn M-8000...!!! The install is very easy, no need to extend the cables to the drum like you had to do in the past.
Came out awesome, and the box fits nice in between the LightForce..!!

I also, removed the steel cable an replaced it with a synthetic winch line.
3/8" x 100' Viking Off-Road Winch Line. Got the Fire-Line with Kevlar at an awesome deal, things super beef.

Sweet looking truck! I absolutely love that water picture. I would blow that picture up and hang it in my garage!

What fairlead are you using for your winch on your ARB bumper??
