Did you ever check to see if the 34"s would fit in the stock spare location under the bed?

@Sportsmanjake No. I had pulled my spare out long before I got the 34" KO2's. I'm not sure if it will work, honest. I think the size that fits in under the bed is the 255/75 R16.

Mouse007; man your truck looks awesome! I just bought a 2016 in MGM. I'm definitely going to get a set of steelies. I like the skinny tires too. Do you think that those would fit a stock height truck? I don't know if I'm going to lift mine yet. If I do it, won't be until I get my bumpers, skids and sliders on. I want to get close to my final rolling around weight before I change the suspension. How do you like the Pelfreybuilt? My next purchase is going to be a set of skids and I think that I will be getting a set of the Pelfreybuilt aluminum skids. I'm really digging that rear bumper.

Mojavejohn...!! Thank you for the complements, she's on the right track.

The 34" x 10.50 R17 BFG's are about .75"-1" bigger than a traditional 285/70R18. The new 2016 Taco's have bigger wheel openings, I've seen a few guys over on tacomawrold.com with a 285' and no lift. Do you plan on running this size in a stock Toyota wheel..? I ask as im not 100% sure the backspacing/offset will work. I guess if the 285" on a stock Toyota wheel works the 34" should as well. I would defiantly give it a try worst case sell them..

Pelfrybuilt...

Where do I start.. They are amazing, Mrs. Satin & Mr. Tyler make an excellent team. They will go above and beyond for there customers, if they ever start to offer stock shares in the company am in like swimwear. I love the rear bumper, it takes the Taco from a mild built 4x4 to a full dedicated wheeler, not that its not but it just makes it look 100% more capable..!! It's by far one of my favorite modifications. It is a "can't go back now" type of modification as you are cutting the bed, but once its on you'll never want to sell the Taco.

I have the Pelfrybuilt IFS Steel skid plate, when I bought it I don't recall they had the Aluminum version out..? I have heard a few guy loving the light weight and heavy duty feel to the Aluminum version. If I was to do it over I would go with the Aluminum version like your thinking of doing.

On a side note, I do have my Wheels & Tires for sale. They have very few miles on them as I don't Daily Drive my truck. If your interested send me a P.M. will work something out.

That's good to know about Pelfreybuilt. I got that feeling from them, I fired off a few emails and they were very responsive. I don't know if I'll get/need the high clearance bumper, I may go with the normal bumper. I Which tires and wheels are you selling? Not the steelies, right? I'm pretty set on getting the steelies. I'm going to look at my spare, I'm pretty sure that it's a 16" steelie. I just want to make sure that I can get a good looking center cap for it.
