multi-tire inflator

I was wondering if anyone has rigged a home made setup to air up all four tires from the same hose off a compressor? I have a friend who made a setup that would do this, but I was wondering if others had. His doubled as a deflator so you would have even pressure in all the tires. I'm just figuring out plans for one now, so I thought I'd ask around.

I wheeled with a guy once who had a setup to do 2 tires at a time. Really nice and slick. I'm going to do one too eventually when I get a round tuit.

Roger Brown has a setup that does all four tires at once.

I'm not sure that 4 tires at once is worth the hassle of passing the hoses under the truck? Two tires at a time seems a little more realistic?

My friend Rod had a 4 tires at once dealio. I don't think that he used it more than a couple of times. The problem is that of parasitic loss in those hoses. It is slower than doing each tire one at a time. Were the hoses bigger then it might not be as noticeable, but then storage becomes the issue.

I use a self-coiling hose to equalize rear axle tire pressures on those vehicles of mine with rear Detroits. At one time I had it set-up to allow inflating too. I've removed that function as it is faster to just inflate them one at a time and then equalize.

makes sense to me. I was thinking of making a double so that I could use it to deflate 2 tires at a time to equal pressure. Call me lazy, but it sounded like an easy way to do things. Also it gives me something to tinker with until the next major mod. But I think I'll run the single hose for now and call it good.

Do you have a compressor that could put out enough air to make it worthwhile? I just use a large ARB Compressor to fill my tires (and work the lockers) and that is only useful for one at a time. I used to use CO2 which might work for two tires at a time.
