If I'm not mistaken that is Bryce. Great place, wish I had spent more time there.

Yes Ross,

Southern Utah is such a wonderful place to explore. I would like to plan a trip there in the spring, but I need to settle on the details (which is hard with the BIG list I have of things to do there)

Man, some nice pics on here. Here are a few of mine: Dave Hartman "white knuckle" Hells Revenge trail, Cruise Moab 2005. Sunset along the Green River, Outlaws Run 2005. We were camped at Crystal Geyser. Ending the New years day snow run on Yankee Hill rd. The Henry mountains from Capital Reef Natinoal Park. And I just had to throw one in of the property, outside of Evergreen Colorado.

I am headed to SLC/Moab tomorrow for a short course on salt tectonics. Should be fun, Deadhorse, Upheaval Dome, Castle Valley, Onion Creek and Salt Valley. Some modest hikes, no camping and no 4 wheeling to speak of unless we go up/down the Schaeffer (sp?) Trail in 15 passenger vans. Did it once and don't think I would want to do it again.

This is one of my favorite pics my took on her recent trip back home to NZ. It is on the north island just a bit north west of the town of napier. You can not drive to the falls, only about a 2 hour hike. I was jealous that I didn't get to go. But she had a good time with her family and friends.

great pics dmc, I sure love Utah. The Colorado Plateau is one of my most favorite places, scenic, great geology with lots of outstanding problems and a great climate. Too many plants cover up the rocks :jump:. I'm packing right now to fly up to SLC and then on to Moab for a few days.

I really wish that BJ70 was mine. I took that photo at Cruise Moab in 02. Don't even know the guy's name. I was tail gunning a large group and never learned the names of the front half of the group. very nice rig and well thought out.

Dave, Awesome pics of Elephant Hill and southern Utah! Could easily get lost in the red rock canyons of Utah, but have to come back to 3.2 beer!
