according to his profile he hasn't been here since September 16th. I hope he and the pups are ok

Still says the same. I was trying to remember if he ever shared a last name, so I could try and search a name/ state. But do not remember it ever showing.

Possibly, they are kind of public record.
LEO can run a plate, ( I do not have that access)
Some DMV's will tell you info for a fee and a form, it varies state to state.
and a handful of websites for a fee, but I do not know what all info is shared
Google image search of it, sometimes surprises you.

His username came up in a YJ forum, but was a mention top meeting him and a link to this thread.

I agree with you. It would probably drive him nuts knowing we are all bent outa shape worrying about him. But he is a amazing person and deserves to be worried about, as much as I know he wouldn't want us to
