Shake down trip.

Anna and I went and did a quick overnighter at Palomar Mt. It was kinda a test camp to try things out. Set up camp had dinner and watched "The Departed" ya a portable dvd player. good movie. We headed out from the picnic table after the movie and wham I caught the corner of the tents platform on my noggin:Wow1:. Point #1 put some type of LED lighting on the bottom of the tents platform, wrote that down. had a very restless night due to some neighbors loud partying till 3am, the rangers kicked em out in the morning, It did rain pretty good just before 3am and the party clowns slept in the cabs of their trucks,no noise and right to sleep. No rain entered the tent. I kinda smiled and said let it rain I am dry. All in all a good trip and pleased with the quick overnighter.
Today I did some rewiring on the trailers electrical box. Trailer standards use Black to charge the battery. I kinda have a problem seeing a black wire going to positive on the battery. I left the main trailer wires alone and ran a new 10g red from the electrical box black terminal and a black 10g from the boxes white which would be ground. So in short comming out of the junction box is red and black to battery hot and ground. I kinda get anal about wiring. Mario and the guys do excellent work I just changed it to my liking But the trailer standards were followed by the AT guys. It's just a wire thing with me.
Ok so I did a quick test of the led lights I put in the side boxes and needed alittle more light, I took them out Remember I mounted them with Butal tape and drilled no holes.I test mounted them for a photo opt inside the tents metal frame work under the platform, see where this is going. I will light them up tonight to see if they will do the trick. The photos are just a test fit to see if it works will get some more for all corners of the tent if the light works out. Of course the lights will be mounted on the outside corners when the tent is deployed. I also mounted a led light just above the ladder so at night the ladder is light from the top makes it alittle safer for my wife.Might get a night picture also ,Any comments?
