Your trailer looks awesome. What did you use for the paint? I will check them out! Thank you!

Harbor Freight $12.99 HVLP spray gun, and Mathews Hot Rod Red paint.
I had it mixed at work Bunting Graphics Inc. " a sign shop." I shot the paint in the back yard
5-6 coats and it has held up well. The gun works great for Solvent based paint "crappy with latex"

I was thinking of trying to find a used tonneau cover with the aluminum rail system. Cut it to fit trim the top add snaps and .....bam a custom cover. What are the thoughts???

Excellent thought, I tried this way but my tub was bigger than a full size 8 foot bed.
I called tekstyle asking for the rails alone but was told no dice. I went with the machine cover.

You should be able to find a nice used cover on ebay, craigslist or swap meet.

Thank you!

I found a tonneau cover on craigslist close by so I am going to grab it and give it a shot. Trimming the top frame will be easy (I hope). The top may be a bit more work to get it to size.

Trimming the frame should be easy. If aluminum it is easily cut with a chop saw.
use the reinforced corners when resizing. An awning shop might be a good check.

Not the best pic with my phone today, but I picked up the tonneau cover. It measures 6'x5' so all I have to do is trim it down to 3' wide. The top and the rails are in great shape. I just have to find a place to trim it up for me. (at a reasonable price) :wings:

Go to home depot and buy a metal chop blade for your circular saw and just chop em. A vise and a hand saw will work as well. Metal blades are less than 10 bucks.
