My SAS Mazda B2600 Diesel Expedition project

Pics of mounts

#1-is the new oil pickup
#2-Left is 4D56t mount, Right 1988 mazda b2600 mount
#3-4D56T mount on engine, engine is upside down
#4&5 Show the 2 mounts next to each other. Far mount is the 4D56T with the tray from the gas engine, closer mount is the 1988 B2600 the way it came of the gas motor.
You can see the angle is just about the same. The tray from the gas engine and the mount would just need a few welds to keep it from spinning.

Finally after a year of searching I found a set of the OE optional fender flares. :wings:

A rare and wonderful thing!

Take care of that museum piece - looks like it just rolled out of the showroom.

Nice job. :wings:

Cheers,
Mark

Very nice! That thing is begging for a small lift and slightly larger tires...did you ever find a lift for it?

It doesn't have the same suspension as the Ford Ranger of the same year? I wold assume it's torsion bars in front, right..?

That would make finding lift kits hard to come by then. Time for some shade tree engineering then, if you need/want the lift.

I put the Old Man Emu springs on my 1992 B2600i. They are really nice because they give me a nice ride but also great cargo capacity when all of the leafs are engaged. They raised the back of the truck about 2 inches. At the same time, I installed the OME bushing kit and replaced all of my leaf spring shackles.

I have some other pictures of the spring installation if anyone is interested.
