Dendy, love the truck and trailer. What a nice setup!

Curious about 2 things. How did you hook up your limb risers to the bullbar, looks interesting. And how do the chains on your trailer run to the truck? I've been thinking I need to add a chain hookup to my rear bumper/hitch setup, but I'm wondering if I could just chain them to my recover points, sort of looks like what you've done?

The limb risers are attached to ARB antenna mounts that are mounted with inner-tubes rubber cut to give grab under the mounts. They are rock solid.

Available from Atlantic British.

On the chain connects, I use 10,000 lb. rated rings from Tractor Supply that are mounted to the jate tow connects under the rear of the truck. They are held steady (so they do not rattle) with aluminum sleeves that come from ACE hardware. I can take a closer image if you are interested in further details.

Thanks
Dendy

Yeah, and I forgot to mention ... the guy that builds these is named John. Great guy, but what he also does, ... is offer the radios rebuilt with codes ... as well as offers them with iPod integration on the front of the unit. (plug iPod in and play) ... as well as if you plug an iPhone into the deck (stock deck), it stops the music with an incoming call, and you hear the caller over the truck speakers ... a future upgrade on my truck.

ohhh - me likey. i hate the way aftermarket radios look in the RRC. that's a great find.

Snagger, your truck sounds awesome. I always think less is more, so I thank you for your positive feedback. I had a specific look in mind when I started the truck and so far ... so good!
Here are a couple of photos. I intend to refurbush it to mint condition, though not as a rebuild.

I did have a problem with the original stereo, so fitted an after-market CD unit. I hated it and got the original unit repaired (the CD unit is now in the 109 and is ideal for that vehicle) - it looks great, even if it only plays cassettes. I use one of those FM transmitter iPod chargers that plugs into the cigarette lighter socket and cradles the iPod. I have ordered one for my iPhone too (5V charging for the iPhone instead of 12V like for the iPod) so that it will charge the phone while I use it to play music and provide a moving map, all at the same time!

The wheels are TWR alloys, and I had the tyres reversed to hide the white lettering (I hate that). You may notice the bumpers are black - that was more usual in the UK. It has airbags on both sides in the front.

Nashville...both "your" white Rovers are sweet! I've always wanted one, but get scarred to pull the trigger every time...

Wow, Nashville, your Classics are just that. Damn! I have long wanted a RRC and honestly, your setup is perfect. Great job, and looking forward to watching this thread now.

Hose tubing works great for those chains too- I used that when I had a sailboat, I also used the tubing to cover my dock and mooring lines. Tractor Supply and Agri-Supply both carry bulk tubing by the foot.

Do those limb risers sing on the highway? The rigging on my boat used to hum when the winds got over 15kts and the pitch got higher the harder the wind which was a great way to trim the sails-just even out the pitch!

(man I miss that boat....)

I have hose tubing over the cable on the limb risers to keep them from scratching the hood (sorry ... bonnet) on the truck.
These risers are from Rovers North, however, the ones that I had on my 110 I made at the local boat supply store. All stainless hardware, etc. It is expensive to do, but not near as expensive as replacing a windscreen!
