I just bought a refurbished Nintendo for that exact purpose!! It's nice to get through a game without it screwing up!!

I got a very hard to find copy of Vigilante 8 for the PS1 . Havent played it for years but Im playing it like I never stopped

Its just a video game guys. I doubt the people that made it know the difference between diesel and gas.
