What would be the best setup to run my ARB fridge?

I tried using this setup over the summer to power my ARB 50qt that's in my trunk.
-1 extreme 350 w/inverter
-2 boulder 30 panels strapped to the center of my roof rack

ARB plugged straight to the pack using the standard wall chord.

My experience was alright. I'm a noob when it comes to this power stuff, but the way I had mine running I got a few hours out of it before the battery drained. I think I got maybe 4-5 hours at 45 degrees (going from 70 degrees to 45). Might daisy chain another 350 to see if that helps.

You should get way more house than that. I ran my ARB 50 qt this weekend for 24 hours off a cheap harbor freight jump pack. My goal Zero 350 arrived damaged so I had to make adjustments. Have you tried running of the cigarette lighter plug instead? Maybe the inverter is sucking up too much juice.

The cig plug on the inverter? I'll give that a try the next time I use it.

Edit* ooooh I forgot about the 12v car adapter. I'll see if that works.

Yes using the cig lighter you will see better results. For me I can go for 2 days. Using the inverter it runs the battery down fast. I just use that for small items where I do not have a DC plug. In fact that is why I got a second battery. One I use for the fridge and the other I use for lights and misc charging.

Thanks fireman you might cost me trying the speakers out now :)
Was curious about those :)

I know they have them at the Costco road show which is coming around again
Wish they had the 350 and 27 panels at the Costco road show

Honu, the speakers rock and stay charged forever it seems like. Go for it if you already have not done so.

I have the speakers and they really do rock, Use them for watching movies on my laptop, and all the time in the shop when working on my rig. I will get another so I can chain a few together. I recommend it.

Charging mine up now, possible 60 mph winds tonight through Monday.
Trees could take out power lines.

With six of their LED lanterns, I can light my place up pretty good with one Ranger 350 kit.

These kits are great for home too besides camping.

So here is my 350 set up, I was in the middle of nowhere on a job and REALLY needed to charge up a Yamaha Rhino battery. So plugged in the smart charger to the inverter and viola'.. worked like a charm. Pretty much sucked the battery pack down but it worked and the next day I had it charged back up with the sun. Loving solar power.

Went camping in Eureka Valley east of Big Pine last week, night temps got down to the single digits, 7 degrees being the coldest. I had my Defender 130 but we slept in my friends pop up Coleman Evolution trailer. The trailer has a good heater but the trailer battery was completely dead. I brought one of my Goal Zero Extreme 350 power packs, two Boulder 30 panels and two Lite-a-Life lights. I had planned to use them around camp at night and maybe charge my camera and phone. With the trailer battery being dead we hooked up the Extreme 350 and were able to run the two lights before bed and run the heater for 7 hours before the power ran out. Had I brought my second power pack I could have chained them and had run the heater all night no problem. Live and learn. I was able to fully recharge the power pack with the two Boulder 30's in about 5 hours. Had it not been so stinking cold one power pack would have been fine, but because it was so cold the heater NEVER shut off, even with the thermostat set at the lowest setting. I am really impressed with how flexible the system is and so is my buddy, I think he will be making a purchase of his own very soon.

RE customer service, my experience has been excellent, both directly from GZ as well as Blue Kangaroos (they are sellers of GZ, check Ebay). Also, just bought a Yeti on DVOR.com
The price was good, and the kicker is that they only charge 9.99 to ship. That damn thing is a heavy beast. Now to figure out where and how to mount it in my AT Chaser. Any suggestions? I have a battery in the nose box already. It charges from the wall, off my Jeep, and also solar. I really like the packaging of the Yeti and GZ equipment.

I bought a Extreme 350 and I have had repeated issues with fuses. I have to remove them and put them back in. Anyone else have the same issue?

I bought a set of 25 fuses for the Extreme 350 and replaced the ones that were in it for fresh fuses and will see if I continue to have issues. I planned on chaining four of these but wanted to try the solo first.
