NEED HELP

Sorry if this is the wrong spot to post this, but I need some help.
I have a 2009 JKU X. it randomly shut off without warning and when I went to turn the key I got nothing. no lights, no radio, no power what so ever. I looked at my fuses and they all seem to be fine. my battery is a year old and has power, my alternator is good, and I've searched all over the internet to try and narrow this down. does anyone have any ideas on what it might be or a direction to look?
I've narrowed it down to be an electrical problem under the hood (no duh right?) but that eliminates stuff like my starter, fuel system, (I have gas) battery, and alternator. i'm thinking it is somewhere in or around the fuse box. I can't seem to find any info on the relays and what they are used for either. (the manual doesn't list anything about them) just the fuses...

so any thoughts or advice would be greatly appreciated!

If it were me the next step (after making sure the battery had a charge) would be looking at the ground and how it's anchored, then how the hot line into the fuse box looks. Both those points needed attention on my 2007 JKU when I installed the Genesis Dual Battery.

When I get off work I'm going to pull my battery and look and see if anything that look corroded or just messed up. You don't happen to know if there is any relay or breaker of some sort between the battery and fuse box do you? I'm just trying to eliminate anything I can.

Wiggle the battery terminals. I've seen a cracked terminal make a vehicle go electrically dead.

Also check all of the large gauge positive cables off the battery and alternator for a short to ground. One of those shorting will dump enough power to ground to stall the vehicle and drop system voltage to 0 (and discharge the battery within a few minutes, combined with getting the battery very warm).

No there was no breaker or relay between the battery and the fuse box on mine. The picture is where the positive wire connects to the fuse box. Mine needed a little work (re-crimp/insulation), it was also loosely bolted on when I was tearing it apart.

Every time I've ever experienced something like that it has ended up with a loose or improper battery terminal connection. Check your cables and connections at the battery, check your chassis grounds where the negative cable terminates. This is x100 if you don't have factory/stock cables or if you have "universal" or bolt on terminals.

I think it ended up being a ground wire going to the body. It was the last thing I touched before the heep got some power. Now I'm going to clean my connections up..

The terminal on the post was pretty loose and so was the ground on the body. Thanks for yalls help!
