Started tinkering with my solar and water setup a bit too. Ditched the Trojan T-105 golf cart batteries for a single Odyssey group 31. I'll wire it tonight, because we're off for yet another road trip tomorrow.

Also, swapped my filthy bedrug for VillageIdiot's super clean bedrug. Just need to put in the anchors and trim pieces.

Osita Van has been sitting with my mechanic for a couple weeks now. He's short handed again, so finding hands to turn a wrench on my van has been a struggle for him.
I dropped it off to have an alignment, and to chase down another oil leak somewhere in the valley. Anywho, he's got the offending leak chased down now, but the turbo I replaced in 2014 was leaking too. Joy.
I've got a new pedestal sans EBPV stuff arriving today, yesterday I dropped the turbo with a local rebuilder this time instead of an eBay rebuilt, had local dude weld the EBPV flapper open while he was there. Looks good. If only it took one afternoon to fix my van...

It's also been a crazy few weeks with our other cars. My green first gen Subie outback wagon started knocking after a few spirited rally sessions and got sold. My wife's second gen outback that we just did a valve job, control arms, bushings, ball joints, struts, trans service, steering rack/pump, alternator, and a few other bits on? Well, the steering pump started squeaking again, and now the motor mounts and transmission mount are shaking. So, we sold it too and bought a 2017 Forester for my better half. Sold off/gave away a bunch of my old Honda twin stuff from the 70s too.
I also keep threatening to sell Osita, and I think once she's back from getting her new turbo and a good detail, she really will be for sale... Stay tuned :)

Back from shop and no more leaks.
I've decided to build some sliders too.

I'll mount the main outriggers to the frame rails via bolt on plates. Here I'm mocking up a test outrigger to check my angles etc. I'll be trimming the seam where the outriggers meet the main rail of the sliders.

You can see a slight gap between the tubes where they meet at the body seam, that'll be taken up by the frame plate on the frame rail side.
I want the main slider tube to be up close to the body, hence the need to trim the body seam in s few spots.
I'll bend up some steps for the outside next few days and then paint it all up. Kinda at a hold now until I can get more 4"x4" plates for the mounts/outriggers.
Loving my new bender in any case...

Minimal progress... went to watch the soccer game yesterday and never really got back in the garage to work.
This morning I got the other side bent up and rough cut, but now it's getting too hot for working on a Sunday when there's Dr. Pepper to drink and old episodes of Project Binky calling...

Might get back on it this evening if I'm feeling it.
