well, to start, i am very happy to have found this thread with like-minded nomadic persons desiring to equip their vehicle for the unlikely instance of a nuclear holocaust myself and my fiance are avid roadtrippers, and although we have seen alot of places by plane, boat and train, travel via my truck, a now modestly equipped 99 tacoma v6 4wd, is my preferred means of exploration.

little dirt road off the top of the world highway between dawson city, canada in the yukon territory and the alaska border. one of the first crazy trips i have taken. friends ask, 'why the hell would want to go to alaska in your truck?!?' to which i reply, why the hell not? after 6000 miles from seattle to fairbanks and back with alot of detours in between spanning three weeks, i look forward to the opportunity to do it again! since then we have been to san diego/borrego badlands twice, the grand canyon, bryce, zion, and a lot of places local to me.
mods to date: 2.0 sway-a-way c/o's, t100 rear springs, tjm bumper, lightforce 170's, odyssey pc1200mjt, and sadly i wasted my money on a cai and a catback (wish i had that money back )
