Hello, first post here.Been lurking for quite a while now,so thought I would post some pics of my humble little exploring rig.I originally planned on keeping it largely stock but an engine failure led to a motor swap, which led to a SAS etc.specs are 89' Trooper with tbi 4.3/700r4,np 231 t/case.Axles are Dana 44 rear from a Rodeo, front is a custom that I built starting with a FJ40 rear axle(driverside drop) sprung under all the way around.

Pretty good at some stuff
Really curious about that front axle. Nothing like making a front axle out of a rear axle to focus the mind.

Thanks for the comments guys! I am really happy with how it came out,My main goal was to keep it as low as possible which was a challenge at times.I have two rock crawlers that started out FJ40's so I had quite a few axle parts laying around,in fact the only thing I had to buy for it was the steering arms and heims.Started with an FJ40 rear housing
