Wheel wells installed; and did a little polishing on the inside of the rear door for fun; should be mounting the body in the next couple days.

The blue equipment has been put to good use; well worth the investment!

I got everthing ready today; but all I could do was stare at the frame and tub due to me being one person! Family coming into town from TX tonight; im sure I can bribe them to help :)

I did take the time to clean my garage; there was dust everywhere!

Body mounted on the frame; need to run wires, install tail lights, run air lines into the tub and fab up/install fenders and she will be headed off to paint!

Your build has got me searching for a vintage pop up to customize.........found a 1977 model.
Going to see it Sunday.................

Looks like its in pretty good shape: only problem with that model is the side door. For me a side door wouldn't have worked due to my wheel wells. If you aren't going for wheel wells then it won't be a problem :)

Man, that is sooo much nicer than the simple construction used underneath the original Apaches. Their plywood bases on a puny frame were always their weakest part -- not on your version! This project continues to be a delight to watch.
