What is the length limit on the Total composite box's? Do you guys have the capacity for a 24, or 26ft? I did not see it on the website, or the bear vehicles dealer site.

We can do up to 39’ in length. But trust me, anything over 16’ and you need tons of space and equipment to move this stuff. Can’t lift them by hand anymore.
Thanks! I don’t want to derail the thread too much. 39ft is big, that’s impressive. Pretty much a container at 39ft. I also saw where you have done at least one, as a small composite container.
I can imagine how the size adds to the complexity. I am watching your build closely, and thinking/planning of a future build. So I appreciate all the insight you are willing to share with us. And your interaction as it adds a lot of work to you.

Time for an update!
with the last bit of bits and pieces slowly arriving , I’m about to get the truck out of the warm shop and start using it for the upcoming winter ski season. Doesn’t mean I’m done or even close to sema show condition as there are still countless exterior refinement outstanding and probably only being tackled next spring. In any case, I’m thrilled to have a camper for my family with plenty of interior space for longer winter excursions where you spend most time inside.
details:
living space for 3 ( lifting bed above the seating area and bunk bed above the storage cabinets
cabinets are all based on ikea kitchen cabinetry . Yes they are heavy but they will allow us to interchange parts and have plenty of accessories available from ikea.
for the floor we opted for a high end cork laminate
the electrical system is based on the ecoflow power kit. I have been test running it with my shop vac , space heater etc for weeks now and I’m thrilled how easy it is to monitor and operate
primary heating will be done with a Autotherm 2D diesel furnace. We can also heat the space with a 300 watt electric heater.
100liters of fresh water
20 litres grey water tank
all plumbing and tanks are inside the habitat in a heated space.
hot water can be provided via 120v, hot air from furnace with the Autotherm combi boil . The diesel heater and boiler can be programmed and monitored through system integration via the comfort control panel.

in any case there is much more to come and explain in the near future with a detailed walk through video explaining all the details.

just keep in mind that I’m not building this for a customer! this is my personal project implementing details that are important for our use and family.
cheers!

Do you guys mostly camp up at Mt. Cain for skiing?
We are in Bellingham and have passes at Baker so we tend to stick around home but I'd like to check out Cain some time.

we mostly go to mt. Washington. The parking lot at the Nordic lodge is best and less noise at night from the groomers. Please say hi if you come through Victoria or see us at the mountain.
