I have thuren rear coils, I have approx 700 lbs in the bed between my rack, spare mount, two 37" spares, two batteries, and spare fuel in those pictures.

The truck sits dead level with this much weight on it, with an empty tank of fuel the rear is actually a tiny bit higher it looks. I think the Carli springs sag because of the multi rate setup, where as the thuren springs are linear rate.

I can't sell them unfortunately, but I can give you the cut file you can take to a local CNC shop. Then they just have to cut it. Is your tubing 1.75 OD?

Yea, 1.75" but chances are I'll just make my own unless I find something off the shelf to save some time.

Great build. Would love to see how you wired up the quad batteries.

Don't really have pictures of the wiring, suppose I could take some but it wouldn't be eventful. It's all loomed up and tucked away.

Here's a diagram of how I wired them though

Truck became too tall for my factory rtt ladder, so i built an 18" extension.

Its pretty stout.

I realized something was wrong with my suspension setup. The truck had more sway than it did prior to the kings.

I knew the new springs were soft, but they couldnt be that soft.

Turns out my rear trackbar was at too steep of an angle due to the rear lift. So i called cjc offroad and ordered up a carli rear track bar drop.

It wouldnt fit flush, so i had to take a bench grinder to it.

But now my track bar is level.

That night we changed our plans to stay in the same camp spot and instead we drove to just outside of Bryce natl park and camped at a RV type campsite called red canyon state park. It was a really nice, clean, quiet camp spot.

The view wasn't half bad.

The next morning we went to Bryce and hiked through the canyon.

We camped at Bryce sunset campground that night, it sucked. Was filled with yuppies being noisy and trying to figure out how to set up camp all night. For future reference, there's a ton of dispersed camping opportunities nearby on a road labeled "tom best"

The following morning we made the journey out to point sublime. What a day, it was a great drive out. I got a permit from the park service ahead of time to spend the night there.

With my new kings installed, I had to run about 30-35mph up the road to keep them in their happy place and smooth out the ride. I only slowed down for mud puddles and downed trees.

Onward, I came across two older guys heading up to the point, pulled onto the side of the trail. I said hi, one gentleman told me they could hear my diesel coming up the road way faster than they were moving and waited for me to come up.

When we got to the top, there was a bone stock new Ford Explorer occupying the first site. I decided to take the loop closest to the point.

It was storming pretty damn hard. We actually had a lighting strike scare too.

The Ford Explorer was a rental, belonged to a couple of guys from Australia.

Which will bring me to the next post when I get around to it. Haha!
