I have an early 80s coleman redwood seven popup that is in desperate need of beefier tires. I flipped the axle for more clearance and plan on taking the sawzall to it and opening up the wells for something bigger than the wheelbarrow tires it came with (5.30x8 no joke)
So the question is whether or not i can stick a set of 4 lug honda civic wheels with a fairly aggressive all season tire on it?
Theoretically it should work, if the 4 lugs match up and the tire isnt too big it should fit, but thats theoretically. Does anyone have any experience with this sort of thing. I tried searching on some popup forums but apparently the majority of the popup crowd isnt into this sort of thing. thanks
heres a pic of it at lake mcconaughey last summer
